SOURCE: Cristiano Ronaldo has vowed to make amends for his penalty miss against Barcelona by scoring in the second leg at Old Trafford. The Portuguese star missed a golden opportunity to claim a priceless away goal for Manchester United when he missed from the penalty spot just two minutes into the goalless draw at Camp Nou. The normally deadly penalty taker sent his effort well wide of the target to deny United a priceless away goal. Despite his penalty miss, Ronaldo was happy with the result and is confident United will finish the job off at home next week. Tough Ronaldo insisted he never changed his penalty style ahead of his spot-kick and he is determined to make up for it next week. "I didn't change my style [for the penalty]. I scored a few penalties in that side but today I didn't score - no problem," added Ronaldo. "But now I will score in Manchester." Penalty claim "I think he touched me. But the referee didn't give a penalty," he continued. "I don't know why, I don't understand. "But 0-0 is a good result now we play at home and I think we are going to win. "They kept the ball a lot but they didn't create great chances we created more chances than Barcelona. "0-0 is a good result if we scored a goal it is better for us. We didn't score but 0-0 is good."
