Liedson: I’d Prefer A Lisbon Stay

Sporting Lisbon strike terror Liedson has revealed that speculation of interest from homeland power Corinthians doesn’t concern him much.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to state very clearly that I want to stay at Sporting,” he announced. “I’ve formed a strong attachment to this club since arriving in Portugal."

"I wouldn’t bat an eyelid in saying that I feel I could wind my career up here at Sporting Lisbon," exclaimed Liedson.

“I gave my word when I signed the contract that brought me here and I want to see my contract out, but that depends on how much the club wants to keep me here.
