PAOK Eye Adriano

PAOK F.C. coach Fernando Santos is reportedly in Oporto to find some reinforcements for his squad...

The Portuguese tactician is reported to have a good relationship with Porto president Pinto da Costa and will try once again to add more depth to his squad with some of the Dragons' least-used players.

Santos is allegedly keen to sign the Brazilian striker Adriano, who was Porto's best goal-scorer during the last season, but has had few chances to suceed this campaign because of Lisandro López's stunning form.

In Greece, Adriano would have another chance to shine, but despite being out of Jesualdo Ferreira's first-team plans, he seems to prefer staying with the Portuguese champions.

FC Porto are reportedly interest in off-loading some players, something that has proven to be successful in the past for all concerned. In 2004, the club loaned out Bruno Alves to AEK Athens, and the defender is now very close to leaving Portugal for a fee in the region of €30 million.

Santos is also reported to have set his sights on Bruno Moraes as PAOK are in the market for a new defensive midfielder.
